Top Security Guard Training Company Partners with Client to Open Facility in the San Francisco Bay Area
Los Angeles, CA - June 3, 2024 - Security Training Center® (STC) in association with Guardian Training Center (formerly Execushield), is proud to announce the opening of a private security training facility in San Leandro. The training facility is in the East Bay and open now. The Powers to Arrest course is conducted with STC training materials using the STC training process and according to the latest Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) regulations. The cost of the 8-hours course is $99.
BSIS changes to training requirements (implemented January 1, 2024) which eliminated the Powers to Arrest course from online delivery have stranded countless rural Private Patrol Operators (PPOs) and potential guard card applicants across the state. The Powers to Arrest course is the first and most important course in obtaining a security guard registration card (guard card), which is required to work as a guard. Simply put, AB229 (Assemb. Holden) makes it harder for people to find jobs and for companies to stay compliant with training regulations. STC has partnered with Guardian Training Center to create an oasis in the training desert created by AB229.
